Our family owned and operated business is located in Troy, NY. For almost 50 years, our team has provided top-notch paving and construction services for home and business owners in and around the Capital District. Along with our residential business we also provide paving restoration services for local utility companies. As we head out of Winter and into Spring we are looking to expand our team in preparation for the upcoming paving season and beyond. We are currently looking to hire Operators, Drivers (with & without CDL), Masons and Laborers. We offer competitive wages, benefit packages, performance bonuses and room to grow. Operators
Responsible for a variety of machine specific functions from setting up equipment, loading materials and operating various machinery, to monitoring and optimizing efficiency, maintaining machines and performing quality checks.
We are expecting you to be able to follow instructions, work well with others and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed, as well as, having a strong understanding of the machines you will be working with (excavator, compaction roller, skid steer, asphalt pavers). Some training may be required in order to prepare you for the daily duties.
Driver (with & without CDL)
Responsible for arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions as well as ordering and receiving materials directly from the plants and dumping waste materials at approved locations.
We are expecting you to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Drivers should be punctual and be able travel to and from destinations in a timely manner.
Mason
Responsible for placing then removing forms, pouring and finishing concrete. Common projects include sidewalks, driveways, road and curbing.
We are expecting you to have experience pouring and finishing concrete. You should also be able to follow instructions, work well with others and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
Laborers
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while supporting the overall project. This may include cleaning and preparing construction sites, loading and unloading materials and equipment, compacting materials, using various hand tools, and assisting skilled trades people in their duties.
We are expecting you to be willing to learn, able to follow instructions, work well with others, maintain a positive attitude and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
